The Career Bridge

The Career Bridge is a career mentoring program that bridges the gap to the labor market for individuals with refugee background, in collaboration with companies and volunteer career mentors.

Industry Specific Mentoring

Foreningen Lige Adgang has many years of experience in facilitating contact between voluntary mentors and individuals with refugee background through customized mentoring programs. The focus is to offer guidance within specific fields or industries, with opportunities for language training, building relevant networks, gaining an overview of relevant workplaces, and understanding Danish workplace culture. The mentoring program typically lasts for 6 months with about 2 meetings per month. During this period, the mentee, with support from their mentor, can work towards achieving their employment goals. Before the mentorship starts, we ensure that all mentors are well-prepared for the mentoring role by offering mentor courses, thematic webinars, ongoing support, and the opportunity to participate in a network of resourceful mentors. The program is available nationwide.
