Foreningen Lige Adgang’s mentoring programme for FGU students aims to strengthen students’ motivation and their education and employment opportunities.
The report evaluates the impact of the mentoring initiative in the period 2021–2024, supported by Tuborgfondet.
It describes the implementation of the mentoring programmes and documents positive outcomes such as increased self-esteem and greater belief in one’s own abilities.
In addition, it highlights the mentors’ motivation, challenges and the factors that ensure the initiative becomes embedded at the schools.
Relationships and flexibility are emphasised as central to the success of the mentoring programmes.

This guide is aimed at highly educated international talents in Denmark who experience challenges in their job search. The guide provides insight into how applications and competencies are often interpreted in a Danish context, and offers concrete perspectives on how to navigate recruitment processes and present one’s competencies more clearly. The guide has been developed as part of the project Successful Labor Market Integration of Highly Skilled Migrants (SLIM), funded by Fonden Københavns Sprogcenter.
