Frivillige erhvervsmentorer for FGU-elever

Foreningen Lige Adgang’s mentoring programme for FGU students aims to strengthen students’ motivation and their education and employment opportunities. The report evaluates the impact of the mentoring initiative in the period 2021–2024, supported by Tuborgfondet. It describes the implementation of the mentoring programmes and documents positive outcomes such as increased self-esteem and greater belief in one’s own abilities. In addition, it highlights the mentors’ motivation, challenges and the factors that ensure the initiative becomes embedded at the schools. Relationships and flexibility are emphasised as central to the success of the mentoring programmes.

Building Cultural Competency in your Job Search

This guide is aimed at highly educated international talents in Denmark who experience challenges in their job search. The guide provides insight into how applications and competencies are often interpreted in a Danish context, and offers concrete perspectives on how to navigate recruitment processes and present one’s competencies more clearly. The guide has been developed as part of the project Successful Labor Market Integration of Highly Skilled Migrants (SLIM), funded by Fonden Københavns Sprogcenter.

This guide focuses on cultural competence in the workplace and on how norms and expectations can influence recruitment, collaboration and well-being in international teams. The guide offers concrete reflections and perspectives for managers, HR professionals and employees who want to strengthen inclusive practices and create better conditions for international talents in Danish workplaces. Karrierebroen – slutrapport for Foreningen Lige Adgangs erhvervsmentorordning

Foreningen Lige Adgang’s professional mentoring programme, Karrierebroen, supports people with refugee or migrant backgrounds in achieving their employment goals and promoting lasting connections to education and work. Through industry-specific mentoring programmes with volunteer professional mentors, mentors and mentees focus on networking, applications, workplace culture, Danish language skills and more. The evaluation provides insight into the effects of the 101 initiated mentoring programmes that we have run since June 2024, funded by the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI). The report is based on both qualitative and quantitative evaluations, which document positive effects and development among both mentors and mentees throughout the mentoring programmes.

Policy Guide: Inclusion of Highly Skilled Migrant and Refugee Women

A report with recommendations for decision-makers, companies and job centres on how to ensure the inclusion of highly educated refugee and migrant women in the Nordic labour market. The report maps key barriers and offers concrete recommendations for breaking down these barriers and ensuring an inclusive labour market in the Nordics in collaboration with civil society organisations.
